Gold at its highest level


Gold prices on Friday rose to a three-month high recorded earlier in the week.
Gold rose 0.3 percent to $ 1235.53 an ounce by 11:34 GMT, having earlier hit the highest level since mid-July at $ 1239.38 an ounce.

The yellow metal is heading for gains for the fourth week in a row.

Gold futures in US futures rose 0.5 percent to $ 1238 an ounce. According to Reuters.

Among other precious metals, palladium fell 1 percent to $ 1,088.72 an ounce, away from a record high of $ 1150.50 an ounce earlier in the week.

Silver rose 0.4 percent to $ 14.67 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.2 percent to $ 824.50 an ounce.
