Football legend Diego Armando Maradona sarcastically criticized Argentina's Lionel Messi for saying he was not fit to lead his country. "He goes to the toilet about 20 times before the start of the matches."
"If I were Argentina's technical manager, I might not have called Messi because of his performance with the tango, but I will make him reconsider and come and play for his country as I want," he added.
"It is a matter of ignorance to underestimate Leo (Messi)," said Maxi Bianchicci, a relative of Messi.
"It is sad to see someone described as a captain talking badly about our best player and he may stay the best for a long time," said Piancucci, a professional in the Paraguay League.
Biancocchi also criticized the timing of Messi's criticism: "The criticism also came at a time when (Maradona) should have supported the rebuilding of the team, which he claimed was behind him."
