Novak Djokovic of Serbia beat the Czech Republic's Prana Choric 6-3, 6-4 to win the eighth round of the Masters in tennis on Sunday.
The 31-year-old is close to first place in the world ranking of Spanish professional players Rafael Nadal, who rose from third to second with a narrow lead.

Djokovic arrived in the final after beating South African Kevin Anderson on Friday with two sets without a reply, 7-6, 6-3.

The crowning is Jokovic's fourth in Shanghai after the years 2012, 2013 and 2015.

Last September, the Serbian tennis player won the US Open for the third time.

In May, Djokovic crowned Wimbledon, his first title after months of injury at the facility.
