Report warns Britain: the number of Russian customers reached a worrying level
A recent report in Britain suggests that the number of Russian spies in the country has increased nearly five times compared with the Cold War.
The report, compiled by the Henry Jackson Society, found that the number of clients serving Russia in Britain was 200.
The British Center based its estimates on a number of current and former intelligence officials, which are trying to neutralize potential Moscow agents, according to the newspaper "Mirror" British.
An unprecedented diplomatic crisis broke out in March after Britain accused Rosa's agents of trying to assassinate former Russian spy Sergey Scrippel and his daughter in Salisbury.
The academic, Andrew Fuxal, the author of the study, says that Britain is still weak in the necessary equipment to deal with Russia in the war of espionage.
The study called on London to take action along the lines of Estonia, where the Baltic state publishes an annual list of people suspected of working in Russia.
Previous intelligence estimates in Britain indicate that the number of Russian clients in the country was only 39 during the Cold War.
