The Chinese "ghost" imitates the American .. and defeats it in the air
Observers have compared the Chinese stealth fighter "G-31", which first appeared in 2014, and the US aircraft "F-35", after allegations of similar in design and characteristics.
It was believed then, after the first appearance of the stealth fighter, that China stole the design of the "F-35" unclassified, 5 years ago.
Business Insider compared the two planes, saying they were both multi-tasked fighters. "There's no big difference between them," he said.
"Although the full specifications of the G-31 are not known to the limits of the hour, but the fighters about the same weight and length and wings."
The two aircraft differ in the weight of takeoff, with a maximum take-off weight of the "G 31" about 25500 kg, compared to about 32 thousand kg for the "F35." The Chinese plane has two engines, as opposed to one in the F-35.
As for the Mach index, which shows the real speed to sound speed, the stealth fighter is 1.8, while the US fighter is only 1.6.
The G-31 estimates that it will carry 12 air-to-air missiles, twice the estimated capability of the F-35.
Unlike the Chinese fighter, the US aircraft has a range of sensors, which give the pilot greater awareness on the battlefield.
