US police found the remains of 60 infants in the "House of Terror"
Detroit police found the remains of more than 60 babies and fetuses hidden in a funeral home, describing it as "deeply troubling."
This comes almost a week after the bodies of 11 severely debilitated infants, hidden in another former funeral home in the Michigan city, were found.
The Detroit police chief said the authorities had not yet reached a link between the two cases.
He said the city, state and federal investigators were looking into forming a task force to investigate "improperly storing human remains".
Police said the remains of some 36 infants and a fetus were found in unburried boxes at the funeral home of Dar Berry, while the remains of some 27 others were found in a freezing device.
Investigators are working to determine the age and identity of the bodies' owners.
Michigan's licensing and regulatory department said in a statement it had revoked the license of the "House of Terror" and closed it after inspectors spotted "horrific situations and negligent acts."
