50 years later .. Michael Douglas gets a "Hollywood star"


American actor Michael Douglas celebrated his 50th birthday with a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame near the star of his father, famous actor Kirk Douglas.
Along with his father, Kirk Douglas, 101, Oscar winner Oscar-winning Michael Douglas was accompanied by his wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and actress Jane Fonda, for his role in Wall Street.

"When I heard that Michael would get the star, I was the first to think why this was long overdue, especially since it was always his age," Fonda said at the ceremony.

Douglas was featured in more than 60 films and television series, including the San Francisco Streets of San Francisco in the 1970s and Basic Instinct.

Douglas, a film producer, also made dozens of independent films and said: "I was lucky in the Hollywood classic and the new Hollywood."

He added that he was proud to join more than 2,600 artists and artists on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
