The plane crash kills Boeing

Boeing has warned airlines around the world of misreading flight control programs on its planes after the Indonesian plane crash.
The warning was in the form of a flyer to global airlines after a Leon Air plane crashed into the sea soon after taking off, killing 189 people on board, the Washington Post reported.

This comes as a result of Boeing's assistance in investigating the error that led to the crash of the Indonesian 737Max 8 on October 29, noting that this is part of its normal operations.

Boeing has instructed its operators if they received false readings from the flight control program, which measures the angle of the aircraft, and alerted the pilots to the action they should follow in these cases.

This is the first explicit sign of an error in the aircraft system that may have caused the Indonesian plane crash. Instead of taking off the Leon Air, the plane's altitude fluctuated dramatically and speed increased before it plunged perpendicularly into the Java Sea. 13 minutes to take off.

Indonesian investigators had retrieved the plane's flight data record, which showed a defect in the aircraft's speedometer during its last four flights.

Boeing said the Indonesian National Transport Safety Authority had noted that the Flight Flight 610 of the Leon Air Company had experienced an input error for one of the "front-line" sensors. Such a misreading could cause the plane to plunge abruptly.

The front-facing sensor was replaced on the plane a day before the flight, on October 28, when a pilot on the same plane flew on a different route (from Bali to Jakarta) and renewed the same problem, Indonesian investigators said on Wednesday.

The pilot on board the "Leon Air" had asked shortly after takeoff to return to the airport in Jakarta, but lost contact with air traffic controllers.

The two Indonesian airlines, which operate 10 Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, national carrier Garuda Airline and Lion Air, declined to comment on Boeing's prospectus.

The Boeing 737 Max 8 is one of the latest manufacturer's models. It has been purchased by many companies. The number of aircraft sold is around 200, and is described as more advanced than the 737.
