Club talks about injury to Salah and absent from the top of Arsenal
Liverpool coach Juergen Klub has expected striker Mohamed Salah to face Arsenal, despite a wrist problem, but midfielders Jordan Henderson and Nipekita Segevan.
Salah has been training a splint on the injury scene this week, but Klopp has squandered any concerns about Egypt's international participation.
"Mu (Mohammad Salah) is not suffering from any serious injury, just a tendonitis, that's all there is to it," Klopp told a news conference on Friday.
"Putting a splint as a precaution is just a protection and has no effect."
Henderson and Keita are still missing due to an injury to their hind thigh muscles and will not be seen at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Doubts are also in doubt for their match against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday.
"Henderson is fine but he will not go back to training before the start of the week, and we'll see what happens with Nabi," he said, adding that he had not lost a game against Arsenal since arriving at Anfield and had 11 points from 15 in the Premier League. "
But the German coach expects a tough match against a much-improved opponent under new coach Onai Emery, who has not lost in eight league games in the Premier League.
Club said Arsene Wenger's departure from Arsenal at the end of last season forced some players to perform better on the pitch to prove their abilities to the new coach.
"Arsene Wenger is one of the best coaches in the world, and sometimes after a long time and after the atmosphere changes, no one can stand up to these conditions.
"When a new coach arrives, just like with me at Liverpool, all the players start out of their comfort zone," he said, "from the first day everyone wants to prove themselves and not just rely on their names."
