Injury aggravates Rakitich's "debilitating"

MADRID (Reuters) - Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has been hit in the back thighs for the first time since his return to the field, his club said on Saturday.
Racic was injured in Croatia's 3-2 win over Spain in the European Champions League on Thursday, and was confirmed to be absent from the decisive standoff against England on Sunday, returning to Barcelona for tests.

The Barcelona medical service said it could not determine the 30-year-old's absence, but Mundo Deportivo said it was expected to be between two and three weeks.

Rachicic is suffering from a suspension during Barcelona's clash with leaders Atletico Madrid on Saturday, with third-placed Atletico Madrid, one point behind the summit, after being sent off to Real Betis.

Rachicic is expected to miss PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on 28 November and Villarreal on December 2.
