Ronaldo: Manchester United win "a gift from us"

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Juventus striker, said Manchester United did not deserve what they deserved to win 2-1 in their Champions League match against Turin.
"We dominated the game, we made more opportunities, and we could not take advantage of that," he said in a television interview.

"Manchester United have done nothing to win," Ronaldo was quoted as saying by Reuters. "It was not just luck, because every team made its fortune.

It was Juve's first loss in 15 games in all competitions since Ronaldo moved from Real Madrid to Italy's champions in July.

"The Champions League is an exceptional tournament, you can not relax, nothing can happen," said Ronaldo, the historic scorer of the Champions League.

Ronaldo gave him the lead in the 65th minute with a direct shot, before the England team returned two goals in the last five minutes.

"I did not notice that the goal was amazing, except when I saw it in the replay, I was happy with the goal, but I was frustrated because three or four goals could have been easily won," said Ronaldo.
