The biggest attempt to smuggle "toxic frogs"
Colombian police have foiled the smuggling of more than 216 poisonous fugitives at Bogota airport, which costs about $ 2,000 each.
Police found the frogs in containers hidden in a bag full of clothes.
ABC News quoted Colombian officials as saying that the "frog shipment" was intended for smuggling to Germany and that several of them were classified as "endangered."
Colombian police are still investigating the incident, where they have not been able to identify those responsible.
The collectors of exotic objects often have such frogs as a kind of bragging or getting their name!
