Nancy Wilson .. Death of "American artist comprehensive"
The American singer Nancy Wilson, famed for her jazz talent, died on Thursday at the age of 81, after a long struggle with the disease.
The singer, Devra Hale Levy, said Nancy, a Grammy winner, died at her home in California.
The singer, who was famous in the 1960s refused to be described as a "jazz singer" during most of her career, because she was singing other types of music.
"She was one of those rare singers who could do anything - jazz, pop, pop and even funk," she said.
Wilson won the Grammy Award for her album "How I'm Happy" (Hao Glade IAM) in 1965, and won the award several times in 2005 and 2007 for jazz, as well as Grammy for her work in 2004.
