After years of sex scandal .. Google accused of "reward involved"
4 years after the departure of the founder of the system "Android" Google, "revealed new details that the giant company paid a fictional reward to Andy Rubin, although involved in a sexual scandal.
The 55-year-old was awarded a $ 90 million reward for four years when he left Google, and then founded his own company, the New York Times.
Google revealed last year that Robin was involved in a "forced" sexual relationship with a female employee under his direction.
But the newspaper said that "Google" reached this result after an internal investigation, and issued a decision to dismiss him without disclosing the circumstances of the dismissal, but gave him a huge reward and issued a statement saying that his departure was amicable.
The charge that led Robin to dismiss was pressure on the female employee to have a sexual relationship with him at a hotel in 2013, after a friendship arose between them.
In 2014, the employee filed a complaint with Google's human resources department, while an internal investigation was launched over a period of weeks, concluding that the employee's allegations were "credible", prompting the company to pressure Robin to leave.
But a spokesman for the developer told CNBC that Robben had "gone of his own free will" and had never been told about Google's misconduct, denying that he had a relationship with anyone during his tenure at the company.
Andy Robben's wealth, nicknamed "Android" before becoming a name for the famous operating system, is now worth about $ 350 million, according to The New York Times, citing a civil lawsuit filed against him by his ex-wife.
