Find a "soaked" plane via Google Maps

A man did not believe himself when he saw a strange vision foreshadowing a huge disaster on the Google Maps site, which depicts the world of satellites.
Robert Morton, 55, found a submerged plane in a sea near the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, when he was seen on Google Earth Monday.

"I've never seen a plane on Google Earth, so it's odd to see an underwater plane," Morton said.

The image of the "alien" aircraft can be found nine miles from Edinburgh Airport, off the Scottish coast near the Portobello area, the site said.

Morton says he has never heard of a plane crash in that area - and expects a technical solution to the puzzle.

"I know that the image of the plane is not really in the water, it may be an airplane photographed by the satellites in the clouds, and reflected its image in the water," Morton said.
