Leaks reveal the "real value" of the standard Neymar deal

New media leaks revealed the real cost of the transfer of Brazilian player Neymar, from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, in the summer of last year.
According to the Der Spiegel newspaper, the cost of the transfer of Neymar to the French club amounted to 252 million euros, not 222 million as announced at the time of the deal.

The newspaper said the two clubs did not disclose other commissions added to the deal, as did not talk about them before.

Der Spiegel says part of the commission went to Benny Zahavi, the main person to complete the deal, while another part went to the player's representatives, each of which amounts to 10.7 million euros.

Paris Saint-Germain also paid Santos, the former Brazilian club Neymar, a sum of 8.7 million euros as the club that brought the player to Europe after growing up in the youth academy.

Neymar is associated with Paris St Germain with a contract under which he will receive € 25.5 million after tax plus a further € 5 million if he acts properly.

Neymar has signed a five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain for € 150 million.
